The Defence League White Cross (three-class) was established by a decision of the Government of the Republic on 19 June 1929
The White Cross is awarded:
1) to members of the Defence League for special merit or for particularly exemplary or long-term service within the Defence League;
2) to other citizens of Estonia and foreign nationals for special services rendered to the Defence League.
The Defence League Cross of Merit (three-class) was established by a decision of the Defence League Council on 3 June 2023. The Cross of Merit is awarded for outstanding acts in activities related to the Defence League.

The Defence League Medal of Merit (three-class + special class) was established by a decision of the Defence League General Staff on 30 November 1997. It is awarded to members of the Defence League for outstanding service within the organisation, and the special class is also awarded to non-members for exceptional services rendered to the Defence League.
