Estonian company Uniraja OÜ and the Estonian Defense League signed a cooperation agreement under which the Defense League will test SecureChat communications system, which is being developed by Uniraja OÜ.<\/div>\n

The SecureChat system is a unique infrastructure-independent communications solution. In situations where military or civilian antennas have become unusable, SecureChat can secure digital communications by creating a communications network with fixed or mobile radio stations connected to the system. The network operates independently of the infrastructure with independent peer-to-peer radio stations.

\nAccording to Major General Meelis Kiili, Commander of the Defense League, the SecureChat system diversifies the training of Defense League. "Implementing the collective knowledge base will enhance the technical capabilities of the National Defense League and help us test our standard procedures," added Major General Kiili.

\nUniraja OÜ has been cooperating with the Defense League Saaremaa district for several years in developing the SecureChat system. As the communication system showed reliable and trustworthy, the Defense League decided to test SecureChat more extensively.
